Welcome to Makeup by Akhi! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and services. By accessing our website and booking our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Services

Makeup by Akhi provides professional makeup services, specialising in wedding makeup. Our services are available in Fife and surrounding areas. All bookings are subject to availability.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be deducted from the total service cost.

  • Payment: The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the event. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.

  • Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to a future booking if rescheduled within six months.

3. Travel and Additional Fees

  • Travel Fees: A travel fee applies for locations outside of Fife. This will be discussed and agreed upon during the booking process.

  • Additional Services: Any additional services requested on the day of the event may incur extra charges.

4. Client Obligations

  • Timeliness: Clients are expected to arrive on time for their appointments. Delays may result in reduced service time or rescheduling.

  • Preparation: Clients should ensure their skin is clean and free from makeup prior to the appointment to achieve the best results.

5. Liability

  • Allergies and Sensitivities: Clients must inform us of any allergies or skin sensitivities prior to the appointment. Makeup by Akhi is not liable for any adverse reactions caused by our products or services.

  • Property Damage: Makeup by Akhi is not responsible for any damage to personal property during the appointment.

6. Photography and Media

  • Consent: By booking our services, clients consent to have their makeup photographed. These images may be used for promotional purposes on our website and social media.

  • Opt-Out: Clients who do not wish to have their images used must inform us prior to the appointment.

7. Changes to Terms

Makeup by Akhi reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is the client’s responsibility to review them prior to booking.
